You will manage large enterprise Splunk infrastructure and lead a team of 3 to 5 administrators.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Splunk enterprise components including universal and heavy forwarders, search heads, indexers, deployment managers, and license masters on RHEL systems in cloud environments.
Configure data injection, manage app deployment, and promote developer changes through the SDLC into production.
Create reports and dashboards for users while managing Splunk access according to security requirements.
Monitor system health, maintain availability, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for improvement.
Establish best practices, standards, and maintain system configuration documentation.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Splunk administration.
Expertise with Splunk components and Universal Forwarders.
Experience managing and migrating Splunk in containers.
Proficiency with AWS cloud environments.
Experience working within Waterfall and Agile SDLC frameworks.
Ability to manage and oversee a team of 3 to 5 admins.
Knowledge of Active Directory integration.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to plan, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines.
