Description

Manage and maintain Splunk Enterprise components within a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Splunk components including forwarders, search heads, indexers, deployment managers, and license masters on RHEL systems.
• Configure and monitor data injection, app deployment, and system health to ensure high availability.
• Promote developer changes through the SDLC into production environments.
• Manage Splunk access according to security requirements and integrate with Active Directory.
• Define, track, and maintain system configuration documents, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems administration or related roles.
• Expertise in Splunk administration and Universal Forwarder management.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency in SDLC methodologies, including both Waterfall and Agile.
• Experience with system configuration and documentation.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet project deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
