Description

Manage and optimize the Splunk environment to support security operations and data visibility.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Splunk indexes, data models, source types, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts to identify log sources and data points for threat detection.
• Optimize Splunk performance through fine-tuning of source types, data models, and summary indexes.
• Implement administrative techniques to identify and alert on security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Integrate various log sources into Splunk to ensure network-wide visibility.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Splunk administration.
• Hands-on experience configuring Splunk indexes and data models.
• Proven ability to manage source types and summary indexes.
• Experience building and maintaining Splunk dashboards.
• Knowledge of integrating diverse log sources into Splunk environments.
• Ability to work alongside IT and security teams for data correlation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
