Description

Manage and maintain the Splunk environment while integrating Google Cloud Platform services. Own the release pipeline for monitoring, alerting, and data ingestion across hybrid infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage Splunk components including forwarders, indexers, and search heads to ensure high availability.
• Integrate logs, metrics, and events from various platforms into Splunk for efficient indexing and searchability.
• Monitor and analyze data from GCP services and optimize cloud resources within the Splunk ecosystem.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and reports to provide visibility into system performance and security.
• Implement security controls, access policies, and data encryption to maintain compliance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT environments.
• Proven experience as a Splunk Admin with deep knowledge of Splunk architecture.
• In-depth expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and integration.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and scripting.
• Experience managing data ingestion, indexing, and search optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to implement security best practices and access controls.
• Any Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
