Description

You will manage and optimize enterprise Splunk environments to ensure data integrity and system availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Splunk architecture, including Indexers, Deployment Servers, Search Heads, and Forwarder management.
• Install, configure, and administer Splunk Enterprise on Linux and Windows servers, including Universal and Heavy Forwarders.
• Develop and customize dashboards, visualizations, and reports using advanced queries and RegEx for field extractions.
• Monitor infrastructure for capacity planning, scalability, and license usage while ensuring SOX compliance.
• Troubleshoot indexing issues by analyzing splunkd.log and metrics.log, performing root cause analysis on production performance issues.

Required Skills

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Splunk administration and architecture.
• Expertise in Splunk Searching, Reporting, Knowledge Objects, and Add-ons.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk App for Enterprise Security installation and implementation.
• Proficiency in writing complex Splunk queries and using RegEx for transformations.
• Experience with Splunk DB Connect for real-time data integration.
• Ability to configure Syslog servers using TCP and UDP protocols.
• Knowledge of Actuate Reporting development, deployment, and performance tuning.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum frameworks.

• Business knowledge within the healthcare domain.
• Experience coordinating with offshore teams.
