Description

You will design, build, and maintain large-scale Splunk environments handling high ingestion volumes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect multi-site Splunk clusters capable of handling 20TB per day ingestion.
• Maintain large Splunk implementations and ensure infrastructure health through custom monitoring of disk, CPU, and memory usage.
• Support application teams to resolve usability issues and ensure maximum system efficiency.
• Respond to Splunk-related issues through an on-call rotation.
• Develop usage reports for team and management review.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise.
• Deep expertise in multi-site clustering and Search Head Clustering.
• Proven experience with Splunk Connect for Kafka and Kafka architectures.
• Hands-on experience managing workloads in Kubernetes.
• Ability to support high-volume log environments (multi-terabytes per day).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Splunk Architect certification.
• Experience with automation tools including Ansible, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
