Description

Develop and manage monitoring solutions using Splunk and APM technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom searches, reports, and dashboards within Splunk.
• Configure Advanced Business Transaction monitoring in AppD and Splunk.
• Implement High Availability configurations within a Splunk clustered environment.
• Integrate Splunk and AppD with external systems like AD, LDAP, and ITSM tools.
• Develop architecture and design documents for monitoring solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Splunk administration and implementation.
• Experience setting up Splunk infrastructure, including search heads, indexers, and forwarders.
• Proficiency in designing Splunk architecture and defining data retention policies.
• Experience with Splunk DB Connect, ITSM integration, and HTTP Event Collector (HEC).
• Knowledge of scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
• Experience with SOAP and REST APIs.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with APM and Monitoring technologies.
• Experience in integrating Splunk with applications across the Agile lifecycle.
