Description

You will build and maintain Splunk-based solutions, managing data ingestion, search processing, and integration components.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Ingest and clean data into Splunk Enterprise using the Universal Forwarder.
• Develop complex searches and process data using SPL, Regular Expressions, and filtering techniques.
• Integrate Python modules and develop Splunk JavaScript components.
• Manage Splunk configuration and ingest JSON data into the Splunk database.
• Script operational tasks using Linux Shell Scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in SPL (Search Processing Language) and Regular Expressions.
• Practical experience with Splunk Enterprise Data Ingestion and Universal Forwarder.
• Proficiency in JSON data handling and HTTP protocols (Request, Response, API).
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS and basic Linux Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Python module development and integration.
• Familiarity with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of version control systems like SVN.
• Understanding of authentication concepts such as KeyCloak and SAML.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jira and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Apache Tomcat.
