Description

You will provide Level 3 24/7 production support and drive system resiliency for PPT products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 3 production support, including incident handling, bug fixing, and problem management in cross-functional environments.
• Design, develop, and deploy multi-tiered web-based enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
• Monitor application logs, visualize metrics, and create dashboards and alerts using Grafana and Splunk.
• Provide architectural guidance to software development teams to improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in all Agile phases, including analysis, coding, design, and unit testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production support and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and Cassandra.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python and/or Bash.
• Experience working within Unix, Linux, Ubuntu, or Windows environments.
• Strong debugging skills and VM support experience.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle and MySQL.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, JDBC, JNDI, or IBM MQ Series.
• Competency in Web services including SOAP and REST.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Mobile SDK languages.
• Familiarity with internal tools such as SOS, Release Scan, and PPT SRE BAU activities.
