Description

You will design and implement advanced Splunk dashboards and data ingestion workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced token-controlled Splunk dashboards using Simple XML, HTML, and CSS.
• Gather requirements from application teams to build custom reporting solutions.
• Write complex Splunk searches for alerts, reports, and dashboards.
• Manage Splunk data ingestion from database tables, application logs, and static sources like CSV and JSON.
• Optimize Splunk search queries to ensure peak performance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience writing complex Splunk searches.
• 6+ years of experience developing Splunk dashboards with Simple XML, HTML, and CSS.
• 6+ years of experience with Splunk data ingestion from databases and logs.
• 6+ years of experience customizing SQL queries.
• 6+ years of experience constructing Splunk-friendly regex expressions.
• 6+ years of experience using Splunk or other tools for storage projections.
• 6+ years of IT technical experience.
• Proficiency in XML, HTML, CSS, JSON, and Oracle SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Splunk Administrator, Power User, or Developer certifications.
• Experience with Splunk Machine Learning Toolkit for troubleshooting business IT applications.
• Knowledge of Splunk DB Connect, Lookup Editor, Splunk REST API, or Federated Index implementation.
