Description

You will design, build, and maintain Splunk solutions to normalize data and drive visibility. You own the end-to-end development of dashboards, reports, alerts, and custom apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and visualizations aligned with business needs.
• Onboard and normalize data sources to ensure strict compliance with Splunk Common Information Model (CIM) standards.
• Develop, optimize, and debug complex SPL queries for performance and accuracy.
• Integrate diverse data sources using Splunk DB Connect, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Build custom Splunk apps and add-ons, automating tasks with Python or shell scripts.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Splunk development.
• Advanced knowledge of Splunk Enterprise architecture and SPL.
• Proficiency with CIM, DB Connect, REST APIs, and scripting (Python/Shell).
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Splunk certifications (Admin, Developer, or Architect).
• Experience with Splunk ES, ITSI, or Observability Cloud.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
