Description

Design and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and visualizations to support enterprise monitoring.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and normalize data sources aligned with Splunk CIM standards.
• Develop and optimize complex SPL queries for performance and accuracy.
• Integrate data using Splunk DB Connect, SQL queries, and REST APIs.
• Build custom Splunk apps and add-ons while automating tasks with Python or shell scripting.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Splunk development.
• Advanced knowledge of Splunk Enterprise and Search Processing Language (SPL).
• Experience with Common Information Model (CIM), DB Connect, and scripting (Python/Shell).
• Proficiency in building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Splunk certifications (Admin, Developer, Architect).
• Experience with Splunk ES, ITSI, or Observability Cloud.
• Platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
