Description

You will design, develop, and maintain logging and monitoring solutions using Splunk.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and visualizations.
• Onboard and normalize data sources following Splunk Common Information Model (CIM) standards.
• Develop and optimize complex SPL queries for performance and accuracy.
• Integrate data using Splunk DB Connect, SQL queries, and REST APIs.
• Build custom Splunk apps and add-ons; automate tasks using Python or shell scripting.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Splunk development.
• Advanced knowledge of Splunk Enterprise and Search Processing Language (SPL).
• Experience with CIM, DB Connect, APIs, and scripting (Python/Shell).
• Proficiency in SQL and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Splunk certifications (Admin, Developer, Architect).
• Experience with Splunk ES, ITSI, or Observability Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
