Description

You will own the implementation and maintenance of our Splunk monitoring and analytics infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write complex and optimized SPL queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Manage data collection, processing, and indexing from cloud, server, and application environments.
• Develop reports, graphs, and interactive dashboards to communicate operational insights.
• Automate data collection and processing workflows using scripting languages.
• Monitor and troubleshoot complex IT environments, leveraging networking and security knowledge.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant work experience with Splunk.
• Strong proficiency in writing complex SPL queries using transforming commands and eval functions.
• Experience collecting and indexing data from cloud platforms, servers, and applications.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Demonstrable experience with self-hosted and Splunk GovCloud environments.
• Experience integrating Splunk with Archer, ServiceNow, Azure, and AWS.
• Familiarity with configuring data intakes via Syslog-NG, Cribl, AWS Lambda, or Azure Function Apps.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or related field (or Master's Degree with 5+ years experience).
