Description

You will manage and optimize Splunk environments to drive security visibility and alerting accuracy.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Windows Event logs, firewall logs, and other critical log sources to build high-fidelity alerts.
• Write and optimize SPL queries to extract actionable insights from complex data sets.
• Develop and fine-tune SIEM alerts to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
• Create Splunk dashboards and visualizations to monitor security patterns and anomalies.
• Collaborate with security team members to validate alerts and refine log patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or log analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).
• Deep understanding of Splunk dashboards, alerts, and visualization techniques.
• Expertise in analyzing log formats, patterns, and anomalies.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Event logs and firewall log analysis.
• Practical knowledge of SIEM implementation and tuning.
• Any Graduate degree.
