Description

You will manage, expand, and optimize the Splunk infrastructure to support evolving architecture and deployment needs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and expand Splunk infrastructure for future architecture design.
• Design, implement, and optimize Splunk applications, queries, and data models, including Enterprise Security.
• Develop distributed Splunk applications, gathering requirements and coordinating setup.
• Automate repeatable processes using advanced Splunk scripting, particularly with Python.
• Define retention, archival policies, and reusable view templates for data models.

Required Skills

• 5+ years managing, designing, and configuring Splunk environments.
• Mandatory Splunk Admin Certification and core Splunk admin experience.
• 5+ years experience in Unix administration, scripting, or application support.
• Experience developing and supporting Splunk Applications.
• Strong understanding of Splunk Enterprise Security Premium Application.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Kafka.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles.
• Experience with GIT and JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation using Python, Java, or .Net.
• Familiarity with Phantom or Cloud computing environments.
