Description

Design, deploy, and optimize Splunk infrastructure and applications for security and data analytics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Splunk applications, Enterprise Security, queries, knowledge objects, and data models.
• Develop distributed Splunk applications from requirement gathering through setup and coordination.
• Define reusable templates for information models, view templates, and retention and archival policies.
• Automate repeatable processes using Python and perform scripting tasks within Unix environments.
• Conduct impact assessments for migration efforts and support performance and user acceptance testing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years managing, designing, and configuring Splunk environments.
• Splunk Admin Certification and Splunk Core Admin experience.
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security Premium Application.
• 5+ years in Unix environments, including administration and scripting.
• Proficiency with Python, JAVA, or .Net.
• Experience with GIT, JIRA, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation using Ansible.
• Familiarity with Phantom, Cloud computing, Databases, and Big Data technologies like Hadoop or Kafka.
