Description

Manage and optimize a hybrid Splunk environment spanning on-premises and cloud deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute data migration projects from on-premises environments to Splunk Cloud.
• Automate Splunk tasks and administrative workflows using Ansible and Python.
• Manage data onboarding from forwarders, HEC, and standard sources while configuring routing.
• Perform Splunk administration, including troubleshooting, maintenance, version upgrades, and on-call support.
• Develop complex Splunk queries, dashboards, field extractions, and knowledge objects.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Splunk components and configuration files.
• Proficiency in writing complex Splunk queries and building dashboards.
• Experience with field extractions and knowledge management.
• Knowledge of Splunk Cloud and Federated Search.
• Experience with forwarder management and data routing.
• Ability to automate tasks using Ansible and Python.
• Experience troubleshooting Splunk performance issues.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of K8s, running Splunk workloads in K8s, and Otel collector.
• Experience with AWS Cloud, Jenkins CI/CD, Splunk Terraform modules, or Cribl.
