Description

You will manage and maintain high availability for SaaS Splunk deployments in a fully remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Own log onboarding from SaaS applications, operating systems, appliances, and application logs.
• Maintain, configure, and document Splunk infrastructure and server roles.
• Troubleshoot complex integration challenges, configuration issues, and system performance.
• Automate integrations between various tools and services.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support Splunk-related issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and performing data validation in Splunk environments.
• Hands-on experience engineering support for Splunk/SaaS platforms.
• Experience implementing Splunk installations from the ground up, including Search Heads, Indexers, Heavy Forwarders, and Universal Forwarders.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with Python and git.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Ability to work as a W2 employee; no sponsorship available.

Preferred Skills

• Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin certification.
• AWS, GCP, or Azure certifications.
• GMON certification.
