Description

Manage and configure Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud environments to support large-scale data ingestion and analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new data sources, configure dashboards, and extract information using Splunk and Cribl.
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Develop systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data volumes.
• Diagnose anomalous system behavior, identify performance bottlenecks, and resolve root cause issues.
• Conduct requirements analysis and support technical users.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience managing Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud.
• Proficiency with Splunk, Cribl, and AWS.
• Experience with Linux and Windows agents including Splunk, Fluentbit, and Fluentd.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or other programming languages.
• Experience with Splunk REST APIs.
• Knowledge of container/orchestration technologies and data pipeline orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management, specifically Incident and Problem Management.
• Knowledge of security, performance, and disaster recovery practices.

Preferred Skills

• Splunk Admin or Architect Certification.
• Experience with Ansible Tower, GitLab, or AWS OpenSearch.
• Experience with large platform migration efforts.
