Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Splunk Observability Cloud Architect to design, implement, and maintain robust monitoring solutions. This role involves creating custom Splunk searches, alerts, and reports, defining best practices for deployment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective Splunk solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain custom Splunk searches, alerts, and saved reports to facilitate proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
• Define best practices for Splunk deployment, configuration, and administration to help Application Support Team to reduce major incidents, improve MTTR, and enhance application monitoring.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide Splunk Observability Cloud solutions.
• Provide architectural consulting and mentoring to internal teams.
• Coordinate with IT teams for seamless integration of Splunk with existing infrastructure applications.
• Implement advanced search and reporting capabilities using Search Processing Language (SPL).

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Splunk detector and alert configuration.
• Logs, Synthetics, and RUM configuration.
• Search Processing Language (SPL).
• Experience in integrating tools like ServiceNow and AWS with Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Experience in Infra instrumentation of prime technologies into Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Experience in ITSI integration and alert management capabilities.
• Fair understanding of cloud services, databases, and operating systems.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of IT experience with 5 years of hands-on experience in Splunk Observability Cloud.
