Description

You will lead Splunk Observability Cloud architecture, deployment, and administration to reduce major incidents and improve MTTR for application support teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define best practices for Splunk deployment, configuration, and administration to enhance application monitoring.
• Create and maintain custom Splunk searches, alerts, and saved reports using SPL for proactive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver Splunk Observability Cloud solutions.
• Coordinate with IT teams for seamless integration of Splunk with existing infrastructure and applications.
• Provide architectural consulting and mentoring to internal teams on infra instrumentation and alert management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on Splunk Observability Cloud expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Search Processing Language (SPL) for advanced search and reporting.
• Experience configuring Splunk detectors, alerts, logs, Synthetics, and RUM.
• Proven track record integrating tools like ServiceNow and AWS with Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Experience with ITSI integration and alert management capabilities.
• Fair understanding of cloud services, databases, and operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in infra instrumentation of prime technologies into Splunk Observability Cloud.
