Description

You will design and develop Java/JEE components using Spring Boot, JAX-RS, and related technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java/JEE components using JAX-RS and Spring Boot.
• Perform unit and development-level integration testing.
• Maintain Java components by resolving testing and production issues.
• Develop automated unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Utilize API development best practices for service creation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Java/JEE development with Spring REST, JAX-RS, and Spring Boot.
• 5 years of experience with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• 4 years of experience with the Red Hat OpenShift Container platform.
• 4 years of experience developing automated unit tests with JUnit.
• 3 years of experience with Rational Software Architect, Eclipse with Spring Tool Suite, or JBoss Studio.
• 3 years of experience with IBM EWM, Rational Team Concert, and GitHub.
• Proficiency in API development.

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes and Docker administration.
• Red Hat OpenShift administration.
