Description

Design and execute automated and exploratory tests to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, performing regression testing once issues are resolved.
• Monitor quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.
• Liaise with developers and product managers to identify system requirements and investigate non-conforming software.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing.
• Experience with security testing.
