Description

You will own the test automation strategy for REST APIs and microservices within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test suites using Karate or Rest Assured.
• Implement BDD practices using Cucumber to define and execute acceptance criteria.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend structures.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects tracked in JIRA.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Java or another JVM language.
• Proficiency in Rest Assured or Karate for API testing.
• Strong experience with Cucumber and BDD methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD.
• Proficient in IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and understand database structures.
• Experience testing REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with XML and web service testing.
