SQL Architect

You will lead the design and implementation of a new data warehouse to replace current stored procedure-based data retrieval methods.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing database structures to identify methods for extracting data from disparate sources.
• Design and implement a normalized data warehouse architecture using dimensions and fact tables.
• Develop reporting solutions for financial, demographic, membership, and payment data.
• Plan and execute the full implementation lifecycle over a one-year period.
• Train the internal team on new data warehousing processes and structures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database architecture or data engineering.
• Expertise in T-SQL and SQL development.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data warehouses.
• Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, including fact and dimension tables.
• Hands-on experience with SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills for mapping complex data relationships.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Annapolis, MD.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced SQL development skills for long-term project extension.
