Description

You will validate data integrity and backend system performance through rigorous ETL and SQL-based testing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Validate source vs. target data using complex SQL queries to ensure ETL accuracy.
• Create, code, and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test and operational problems to identify defects and report them via structured tracking processes.
• Maintain traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, and test cases.
• Generate Excel-based data validation reports containing expected and actual results.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in a technical discipline, with at least 5 years focused on backend data software testing.
• Expertise in writing and reading very complex SQL queries for large database testing.
• Proven proficiency with relational database management systems such as MS SQL Server, DB2, or Oracle.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with backend testing tools including Hadoop, Hive, Selenium, SoapUI, or Cucumber.
• Proficiency using defect tracking and management tools like ALM, AGM, or JIRA.
• Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall software development life cycle (SDLC) models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Healthcare Insurance Enrollment or Claims data.
• Hands-on experience scheduling jobs and executing automated regression suites in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
