Description

You will clean and standardize data across a large-scale SQL Server database as part of a Data Quality Enhancement initiative.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze database structures and relationships to identify data anomalies or inconsistencies.
• Write and execute SQL update and insert statements to clean and optimize data.
• Automate and expedite cleansing processes using specialized tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with the data team to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Document cleanup processes and provide regular progress updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server development.
• Proficiency in writing complex queries, data manipulation statements, and stored procedures.
• Experience with query tuning, indexing, and transaction handling.
• Ability to analyze large datasets to pinpoint inconsistencies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 5+ years of experience in database technology or data organizations required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data cleansing tools such as Trifacta, Talend, or Alteryx.
• Knowledge of Python and ETL automated data transformation techniques.
• Experience in Pensions Benefit Management programs.
