Description

Manage and secure databases storing critical business information across cloud and on-premises environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and create efficient database structures and objects for SaaS web applications.
• Perform database administration tasks for production and non-production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity, performance, blocking, and deadlocking issues.
• Analyze and tune existing queries, schemas, and stored procedures.
• Provide database expertise to software development teams and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in an Azure Cloud Environment.
• 5 years of experience with Azure SQL, SQL, and T-SQL (queries, views, procedures).
• 5 years of experience with SQL database backup, recovery, and documentation.
• 5 years of experience with data migration.
• 5 years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell.
• 3 years of experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO).
• 3 years of experience in capacity planning and infrastructure provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Azure SQL MI, SQL on Azure VM, On-Prem SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and Azure Synapse.
• Proficiency in using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and other monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
• Experience with ETL processes.
