Description

You will own the administration, performance tuning, and maintenance of SQL Server databases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for database automation, backups, and monitoring tasks.
• Optimize database performance through indexing and query tuning to ensure efficiency.
• Manage database security, including user access and role-based authentication.
• Implement and manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions like Always On and Clustering.

Required Skills

• 5 to 9 years of experience as an SQL DBA in a production setting.
• Strong administration knowledge of SQL Server (2016, 2019, 2022), backup, and DR strategies.
• Hands-on experience scripting with PowerShell for maintenance and automation.
• Expertise in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing HA/DR solutions (Always On, Log Shipping, Clustering).
• Good understanding of T-SQL, stored procedures, and database programming.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with SQL Dba, Azure Sql, and Aws Rds.
