Description

Manage and optimize database, web server, and application software within a complex, distributed data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch databases and application software across development, test, and production environments.
• Triage and resolve operational issues while collaborating with development teams on system design and performance tuning.
• Design and implement database and server security protocols to protect enterprise data.
• Partner with release staff to plan and deploy database and application code to production.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, BI, and ETL teams to design scalable architecture for an Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and enterprise systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of Ralph Kimball data warehouse design methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data models and the ability to navigate unfamiliar data structures.
• Experience with ETL processes and data delivery architecture.
• Ability to develop methods for capturing, storing, and presenting data from diverse models.
• Experience managing database systems across various operating systems.
