Description

Lead SQL Server administration, design complex database solutions, and ensure high availability and performance for large-scale environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex SQL Server database solutions and architecture.
• Act as subject matter expert for SQL Server Administration, troubleshooting and resolving critical issues.
• Ensure AlwaysOn performance tuning for large, high-tier environments to maintain optimal reliability.
• Manage moderately complex projects and lead special initiatives to improve operational excellence.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server Administration.
• Strong background in complex database design, management, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting with Shell and Python.
• Experience automating operational tasks, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
• Proven track record in banking or financial services, specifically on the App DBA side.
• Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision and strong problem ownership.
