Description

You will administer and support SQL Server databases across enterprise data centers and plants.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and upgrade SQL Server instances and databases.
• Manage database migrations, failovers, and recoveries.
• Perform performance tuning alongside application teams to resolve issues.
• Enforce IT policy and security requirements for database access and controls.
• Support SQL Server mirrored databases and Always On clustered environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of recent SQL Server DBA experience.
• 2+ years of experience specifically with SQL Server 2019.
• Experience supporting SQL Server 2008 through 2019 Standard and Enterprise Editions.
• Deep technical knowledge of SQL Server components and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Git and GitHub.
• Ability to provide technical leadership to team members.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with ticketing systems and infrastructure support teams.
