Description

You will manage and maintain SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance for production systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server software, including applying service packs and patches.
• Manage 24/7 production support, including on-call rotations for migrations and system stability.
• Execute SQL deployments, monthly application code releases, and weekly code reviews.
• Manage backups, restores, and recovery models to ensure disaster recovery readiness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server environments (versions 2000 through 2016).
• Proficiency with SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Query Analyzer.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Enterprise Manager, and DTS.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, IIS, and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) configurations.
• Experience using VMware Servers.
• Ability to manage data movement via BCP and SSIS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Technical familiarity with WebServices, LINQ, WCF, .NET Framework, and C#.
