Description

You will manage SQL and Azure database solutions while leading cloud migrations from on-premises environments to Azure SQL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL to minimize downtime.
• Implement database security, encryption, access controls, and auditing to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualization solutions.
• Optimize query performance, indexing strategies, and resource utilization through proactive bottleneck identification.
• Automate routine administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration and SQL development.
• Proficiency in SQL, Transact-SQL, and relational database design/tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL and Azure database solutions.
• Advanced Power BI development skills, including DAX and data modeling.
• Experience with Power Platform, specifically Power Apps (Canvas/model-driven) and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of Web APIs (SOAP/REST) and data warehouse concepts.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to use Azure Insights, Monitoring, DMVs, and Query Store for troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating data via SharePoint and Azure Data Factory.

Preferred Skills

• Power BI certifications.
