Description

Manage SQL databases and provide critical data extraction and analysis to support legal discovery efforts and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Extract data and create user-friendly reports to address legal questions and discovery requests.
• Convert and transfer database files or tables between storage locations and formats.
• Develop and test automated processes for data conversion and report assignment.
• Analyze database content and quality to recommend management procedures and extraction processes.
• Consult with programmers, analysts, and vendors to resolve database and application software issues.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in SQL Database Administration.
• Extensive knowledge of T-SQL, including Stored Procedures, Triggers, Indexing, and Agents.
• Expertise in Query Tuning, Data Tuning, Data Cleansing, and Database Security.
• Proficiency with SQL Management Studio and SQL scripting.
• Current knowledge of Windows Server OS functions and commands.
• Experience performing modifications on files generated from the database.
• Ability to work independently in complex environments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for interacting with technical staff and business users.
• Any Graduate degree with formal education in SQL Database Administration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server or Access DB.
