Description

You will manage and optimize State of Michigan educational database systems to ensure security and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead database system optimization efforts to increase performance and efficiency.
  • Execute high-priority agency work items involving SSIS, ETL, and SQL job changes.
  • Manage data replication using SQL Server Availability Group configurations.
  • Design, develop, and refine database systems and evaluate security system performance.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in database administration.
  • SQL Server expertise and proficiency in T-SQL.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell.
  • Experience with SQL VM server configuration.
  • Knowledge of SSIS and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience working within Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree.
