Description

You will manage and maintain commercial-grade Microsoft SQL Server environments. You will own the stability, performance, and availability of the database infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft SQL Server instances ranging from version 2012 to 2022.
• Optimize system performance through T-SQL query rewriting and tuning.
• Implement and support High-Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve performance and stability issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft SQL Server (2012–2022).
• Expertise in T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL internals, including Partitioning and In-Memory technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Clustering and Always-On Availability Groups.
• Proficiency in database design, configurations, builds, and stored procedures.
• Experience with backup/recovery, security, and data integrity management.
• Skill in performance troubleshooting and tuning.
• Ability to work with SAN technologies.
• Competency in PowerShell scripting for automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with logical and physical data modeling.
