Description

Manage, design, and tune mission-critical Microsoft SQL Server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server environments, applying patches, managing backups, and performing restores.
• Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and remediate findings through regular health checks.
• Collaborate with application support and development teams to refine SQL scripts and assist with release deployments.
• Execute database upgrades from older versions to the latest releases and assist with on-premises to cloud migrations.
• Participate in a 12x7 on-call rotation to respond to war room alerts and production support tickets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Experience defining backup and recovery strategies.
• Ability to perform performance tuning and live database monitoring.
• Experience handling database break-fix requests and production operations.
• Any Graduate degree.
