Description

You will manage the maintenance, optimization, and security of SQL database systems to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries and structures to resolve bottlenecks.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks including backups, updates, and indexing.
• Manage database security through user access controls, encryption, and auditing to ensure compliance.
• Implement and test backup, recovery, and high availability solutions like failover clustering or mirroring.
• Maintain technical documentation for database configurations and procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Strong proficiency with SQL Server and MySQL.
• Expertise in SQL query optimization and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with database security and compliance standards.
• Any Graduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in English.
