Description

You will design, install, and maintain SQL database solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the database release pipeline, including upgrades and migrations.
• Monitor performance metrics to optimize latency, throughput, and capacity planning.
• Develop and enforce security standards to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Conduct regular health checks, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet infrastructure requirements.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience managing SQL database environments (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with database scripting languages.
• Proven experience in database optimization, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum methodologies, and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Experience with cloud database services like AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
