Description

You will manage and optimize MSSQL databases while supporting the broader infrastructure team. This role requires hands-on ownership of database stability, performance, and migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot SQL Server components, including SSIS and SSRS.
• Manage ETL processes, SQL backups, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Execute database migrations and upgrades across MSSQL versions 2008 through 2022.
• Support Azure SQL Database and Managed Instances.
• Provide mentorship, knowledge transfer, and documentation for the DBA team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in MSSQL (versions 2008–2022).
• Hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Proven ability to maintain and troubleshoot ETL processes.
• Knowledge of Azure SQL and Managed Instances.
• Experience performing database migrations and upgrades.
• Proficiency in SQL backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AlwaysOn and other High Availability SQL technologies.
• Exposure to Oracle database platforms.
• Experience assessing and introducing new technologies to improve database infrastructure.
