Description

You will manage, design, and tune mission-critical Microsoft SQL Server environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server environments, including patching, backups, and restores.
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot or remediate production issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to refine SQL scripts and support deployments.
• Execute database upgrades and migrate on-premises MSSQL databases to the cloud.
• Participate in a 12x7 on-call rotation to respond to war room alerts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SQL Server administration.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) management.
• Proven experience with database design, building, and performance tuning.
• Ability to define and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Experience handling production operations and break-fix requests.
• Background in managing database upgrades and migrations.
• Degree in any field.
