Description

You will lead the migration of SQL Server databases from 2016/2019 to 2022, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead SQL Server database migrations and manage user accounts, permissions, SSIS packages, and linked servers.
• Implement and support Always On High Availability and clustering solutions.
• Migrate and validate SSRS reports and subscriptions while updating data sources.
• Perform database performance tuning, including indexing and query optimization.
• Provide post-migration support, resolve issues, and track project scope.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server database migration and administration.
• 4+ years of experience with Always On High Availability and clustering.
• 4+ years of experience with SSRS or similar reporting tools.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis and data warehousing concepts (star and snowflake schemas).
• 2+ years of experience with database performance monitoring tools such as Redgate.
• Strong experience with SSIS, SQL job scheduling, and linked servers.
• Proven ability to support enterprise-level database environments and migrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of SAN performance tuning and storage optimization.
• Experience working in large-scale or public sector environments.
