Description

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and reporting datasets
• Build and enhance a company-wide profitability reporting solution using manufacturing ERP data
• Automate manual financial reporting and cost allocation processes currently managed by Finance
• Extract, transform, and analyze large volumes of operational and financial data
• Create profitability reporting by:
  • Customer
  • Part Number
  • Manufacturing Facility
• Maintain and integrate allocation tables provided by Finance
• Develop data movement and automation processes using Python, Spark, or similar technologies
• Support data integration workflows utilizing Azure Data Factory and SQL Server Agent
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, Engineering, and other business stakeholders
• Document business logic, data flows, and development processes

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SQL development experience
• Advanced SQL Server skills including:
  • Complex query development
  • Stored procedures
  • Performance tuning
  • Data transformation
• Experience building reporting and analytics solutions from enterprise data sources
• Python, Spark, or R experience for scripting, automation, and large-scale data processing
• Strong understanding of:
  • Relational databases
  • Data modeling
  • Data transformation
• Experience working with large datasets and automated data processing
• Experience with Azure Data Factory
• Experience with SQL Server Agent scheduling and automation
• Experience supporting finance, costing, profitability reporting, or business analytics initiatives
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders

• Operational reporting environments
• Understanding of how financial and operational data interact within ERP platforms
• Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Manufacturing routings
• Standard cost accounting methodologies
