Description

You will own the development and maintenance of SQL database systems.

Responsibilities

• Debug and maintain existing forms, queries, and modules using Microsoft Access/VBA.
• Reverse-engineer and maintain legacy systems without redesigning core structures.
• Follow established change control, documentation, and testing processes.
• Translate existing business logic from macros/modules/queries into SQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proficiency in MS Access Development.
• 5+ years of experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
• 5+ years experience using ActiveX Data Objects.
• 5+ years experience in MS Access SQL and Query design.
• 3+ years experience splitting MS Access Databases into Front Ends and Back Ends.
• 4+ years experience translating business logic from macros/modules/queries to SQL.
• 4+ years experience writing stored procedures and migrating tables from MS Access to SQL Server.
• 4+ years experience converting MS Access Forms/Reports to web-based applications.
• Strong experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, debugging).
