Description

You will design, develop, and maintain database objects within Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise and SQL Server environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, and database scripts.
• Optimize SQL code to resolve performance issues and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with full-stack developers to design data models for applications.
• Conduct detailed testing of database objects and perform code reviews.
• Write clear specifications and documentation for all database artifacts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT with a focus on database analysis, design, and programming.
• Extensive experience in client-server application development using T-SQL.
• Advanced working knowledge of SAP (formerly Sybase) Adaptive Server Enterprise.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts.
• Proven ability to manage and maintain database code objects in SQL Server environments.
• Bachelor's degree with an IT major.
• Ability to support critical systems outside of regular working hours when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex data modeling for existing applications.
• Familiarity with full-stack development workflows.
