Description

You will manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of SQL databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain SQL databases, ensuring high availability and responsiveness through performance tuning.
• Develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot database issues, perform root cause analysis, and support IT teams during critical priority tickets.
• Collaborate with development teams on schema design, data modeling, and SQL query optimization.
• Automate routine maintenance tasks and manage database security, access controls, and capacity utilization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a DBA in a Level 3 support capacity.
• Hands-on experience managing PostgreSQL, MS SQL (2008-2019), and Oracle.
• Experience with infrastructure support including VMWare and Azure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server (2008-2019) and Multi Domains Environments.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group policies, and PowerShell.
• Experience with MS SQL tools including SSIS and SSRS.
• Understanding of the ITIL delivery framework.
• Familiarity with F5 – Big IP, network security, and PKI.
• Experience with Service Now, SCCM, and DevOps tools.
