Description

You will develop and optimize database solutions for a banking Agile Squad, leading IT deliverables in large-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Program using SQL, PL/SQL, and related database technologies to build robust data solutions.
• Optimize queries and perform database tuning to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Lead IT deliverables while participating in sprint grooming, planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with global business and technology teams using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with large volume, highly available databases.
• Strong programming expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 and SQL Server databases.
• Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Background in the financial services industry.
• Experience with version control and job scheduling tools.
• Practical experience working in Agile development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Snowflake.
• Understanding of NoSQL and cloud-based databases.
• Knowledge of large enterprise application requirements such as security and entitlements.
