Description

You own database analysis, development, and administration, covering data modeling, performance tuning, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
• Design enterprise-grade database solutions in collaboration with IT Architects.
• Install, configure, and manage SQL Server environments across Dev/Test/Prod.
• Proactively monitor system alerts and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
• Implement and manage roles, permissions, and access controls for data governance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SQL development and administration.
• Strong expertise in T-SQL and PL/SQL, including performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SSMS, SQL Server Agent, and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Redgate, or Idera).
• Solid understanding of backup/recovery models, High Availability (HA) configurations, and database security.
• 6+ years of experience with PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Combined experience as a DBA, Architect, and Developer.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and Azure SQL.
